People have been left divided after a woman shared her odd sandwich filling combination on TikTok. 20-year-old Katie McBurney posted a clip on the platform of her eating the snack which she claimed was part of her childhood but had left her friends bemused.
The combo in question is a far cry from the humble ham cheese or BLT and may even be more strange than these sandwiches served up at a former Cardiff newsagents. As Belfast Live reports, to many viewers' horror, Katie admitted that her sarnie of choice is - wait for it - apple and Mars bar.
In the video - which has been watched over 45,000 times - the student from Ballymoney in Northern Ireland told viewers that she had previously thought the sandwich filling was ordinary, but was left amazed after talking to one of her friends in England who had never heard of the combination before.
