We all greatly appreciate a life hack - especially when it's a tip that's going to better our daily routine and impact our life for the better.
Travel blogger Laura did just that as she shared a life-changing hack for those who are victims of the abundance of train cancellations experienced daily.
Her simple yet effective hack shares how to get automatic refunds for train cancellations without the pesky admin - and it's quickly been labelled as "game-changing".
Laura, 29, broke down the efficient method - and that's by booking directly with train operators rather than sites like Trainline - as they allow you to opt-in for automatic repayment.

She recently stumbled upon the simple trick when she booked tickets to London - and found the whole process incredibly straightforward.
"How many times have you not bothered to claim a refund because of the ridiculous level of admin involved?" Laura penned in the Instagram post caption for @thriftlondoner.
"If a train is 30 mins late, I am usually reluctant to fill out the forms required to get the small refund I am due.
"But if you opt in for automatic delay repay? It’s a game changer!"
Sharing the revelation with her 17,000 followers on Instagram - and her personal finance blog Thrifty Londoner – she is keen to spread the word further.
"If you search for 'automatic delay repay' on a train company website, you can usually sign in with the details you used to purchase your advance ticket, and then opt into automatic delay repay," she told NeedToKnow.online.
"Usually, your claim will be processed automatically within 24 hours, and then payment made around 5 days later.
"Depending on the length of the delay, you could be eligible for a full or partial refund."
Whilst several budding passengers may assume that lengthy delays are only eligible for refunds - Laura shared how passengers with just 15-minute delays can receive repayment.
She explained: "I used to always book with Trainline, but now book directly with Avanti.
"Whenever I have a delay of 15 minutes or more, I receive compensation!"
In 2018, Laura started travel blogging to share tips for making life in the capital more affordable - and with the cost of living crisis, the advice is needed more than ever.
She said: "I decided to start sharing tips about money management after I moved to London and found myself with a low salary and high living costs.
"I quickly realised that I needed to have a handle on my finances to avoid going into debt.
"I kept looking into personal finance more and more, and found that there wasn’t a woman my age talking about important topics like pensions and investing in a way that was easy to understand and relatable.
"I started sharing because I wanted to break taboos about money and start jargon-free conversations about personal finance."
