A woman in her 20s has reported being sexually assaulted on a popular UK beach in a late-night incident, with police launching an investigation and appeal for information following the attack in Lowestoft.
The incident is reported to have taken place at around 11 pm on 8 April near the East Point Pavilion off Marine Parade, on a day marked by unusually warm weather that had drawn large numbers of people to coastal areas.
