A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Ilkeston. Police are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It happened in a retail park car park in Station Road between 12.30pm and 1pm on December 7. Derbyshire Constabulary issued a public appeal about the incident today (January 11).
A force spokesperson said: "We're appealing for anyone who saw a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Ilkeston to come forward and help with the investigation. A black Nissan Qashqai collided with a pedestrian who suffered serious injuries.

"She was taken to hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged."
"We are now appealing for anyone who may have seen what happened, or who has dash cam footage of the incident, to get in contact with us." Call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting reference number 22*726109.
