A woman was seriously injured after being knocked down by a BMW in Salford. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash on Bolton Road in Walkden.
The BMW driver stayed at the scene and was not arrested. Police say the woman, in her 60s, suffered injuries described as 'serious but not believed to be life threatening'.

The crash took place at around 9.30pm on Thursday, April 6. Police say they are 'keen to hear from anyone with any information – or doorbell, CCTV, or dashcam footage of the incident'.
