A woman from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district has sought a divorce from her husband after a dispute over their honeymoon escalated into a prolonged marital conflict. The disagreement centred on the husband's decision to bring his family members along on the couple's honeymoon and later on another planned holiday.
The matter eventually reached the police and was later referred to a family counselling centre after attempts at reconciliation failed.
