Woman says Primark Disney trainers 'perfect' for wedding - but not everyone agrees

While people tend to follow strict clothing requirements for formal events, including weddings, one woman believes that comfort is key - no matter the occasion.

Sharing her findings online, the Disney fanatic explained that she's found the "perfect" wedding attire for the inexpensive cost of just £16 in budget-friendly retail store Primark.

Diane Toynbee praised the "super comfy" trainers on popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which boasts more than 2.2 million members to date.

Since unveiling the "perfect" bridal shoes on the social media app, Diane's post has raked in over 500 comments and over 900 interactions.

However, upon sharing her findings, Diane has sparked a huge debate over whether the comfortable fit is truly appropriate for a wedding.

Alongside a snap of the trainers, she wrote: "I love all things Disney, these are from Primark, I know lots of brides now like to wear a comfy trainer with their dress.

"I think these would be perfect. I'm not getting married just love shoes and sparkle," she added.

Along the sole of the shoe, the white trainers were aligned in a silver crystal embellishment.

Meanwhile, the same dazzling crystals were decorated on the side of the footwear to unveil the iconic Mickie Mouse silhouette.

Flocking to the comment section, Facebook users were admittedly in love with the "cute" design.

Taking to the post, one person wrote: "How cute are these."

"These look cute!" A second Facebook user agreed.

A third said: "I have these for work, £16 and they are super comfy. I'm on my feet all day too."

A fifth claimed: "I've got these for my wedding and for my bridesmaid as well."

"I wore these as a bridesmaid - no-one could see under my dress," a sixth added.

"WANT!" Another person said.

However, not everyone was in love with the Primark x Disney collaboration, as some classed the footwear as a "joke".

"Urgh! Not all adults love/like Disney clothes," one person said.

Agreeing with the comment, someone else agreed: "It's a joke, you go into any shop, can't buy nice things because it's got Disney princesses printed everywhere..."

"Bought these myself. I really need to grow up," a different user added.
