Woman's years of drug use leave her living with holes in her legs and 'oozing fluid'

A woman has spoken of her downward spiral into heroin addiction which has left her disabled and desperate for an operation.

Elizabeth Forrest was 21 when she started taking speed when out clubbing. The drug gave her confidence and helped with her mental health struggles.

Her use quickly got out of control, and she soon began taking amphetamines on weekdays, then every day, relying on speed just to function, reports the Manchester Evening News.
