We all love a supermarket meal deal from time to time, but it's much more cost effective to take your own lunches into the office.
If you're super organised, you might have a lunch box that you prepare your food in the night before, and it's pretty satisfying to arrive with a mouth-watering lunch in-hand.
But one woman's packed lunch has caused quite the stir online as people are baffled by her unusual combination of ingredients.
The office worker took to Reddit to share her colourful lunch, complete with plenty of vegetables, but people's eyes were immediately drawn to one particular addition: pineapple.
The blue and pink lunch box contained a yummy-looking salad containing olives, nuts, and tomato, and a generous dollop of hummus with pitta bread in a separate section. But what really got people talking were the slices of pineapple which seemed to be dumped haphazardly on the food - with one landing on top of the popular dip.
"Why is there a pineapple slice in your hummus?", someone questioned, and another wrote: "Neither Pineapple with hummus nor pineapple-y hummus seems very tasty."
Some people claimed that they thought it'd be nice though, with one commenting: "Nah, people hate on pineapple socially, but it has a great citrus aspect to it and a sweetness that ties it all together. I haven't had it, but I'm excited to have it, hummus and pineapple!"
There was a genuine explanation to the unusual food combo though, as the original poster reasoned: "Lmao it wouldn't fit and snap close the stacking box with both pineapple slices. Or I didn't try hard enough, I was running late so I threw it on top of the hummus."
