Woman's outrage as neighbours ‘reserve’ parking spots with wheelie bins

There's one thing that's worse than road rage - and that is neighbours from hell. Mixing the two together will, therefore, only result in a recipe for disaster.

A woman online has shared her outrage after her nightmare neighbours proceed to reserve their parking spots on the road with wheelie bins.

Whenever the woman tries to take a calm approach by moving the bins out of the way - she is repeatedly "shouted and swore" at.

The woman - who "lives in a residential Parking area" - expressed her anger online after contacting the council to get involved - who hasn't done anything.

Sharing the post on popular parenting Mumsnet - she sought advice from users on what measures she should take next.

She said: "Our next door - but one - neighbours have a car plus their 3 adult sons have cars.

"Also, our next-door but one neighbour's brother - who lives across the road - has a car.

"But he prefers to park outside our next-door but one neighbours house as he spends most of their time there."

The woman expressed her annoyance for her neighbours - who all park their cars on the street.

However, the parking isn't as simple as it seems as the car owners will go to extreme lengths to reserve their spaces - and will even put wheelie bins in the road.

"When they are not home they save their space with a wheelie bin in the road," she explained.

"When I move the bin off the road - one or other of the kids (not always the adult ones) - comes out from nowhere and starts shouting and swearing at me.

"They do the same to our neighbours too.

"I've complained to the council and they said it isn't on and they would write to them bit not mention us by name.

"It seems to have had no affect," she added. "As tomorrow will be two week since I rang the council I'm ringing again tomorrow.

"Am I being unreasonable to be fed up of it night after night and to want it to stop?"

Several users fled to the comment section to share their thoughts on the ordeal - with several sharing how the woman should sneakily get her own back.

"I'd be helping that wheelie bin to disappear into another street," one user penned.

"God that would annoy me so much," a second added.

"I’d be tempted to ask a friend they wouldn’t recognise to take their bin for a long walk to several streets away."

"Hide the bin," a third wrote.
