Prepping vegetables is a boring job that takes time and effort.
But one woman who shared her "life-changing" broccoli hack has divided opinions online.
Stephanie shared how she cooks the vegetable in a way that ensures no mess and requires very little effort on her TikTok @steph2302.
"Turns out not everyone cooks their broccoli like this," she captioned the video which has been viewed more than 9.9 million times.
Instead of cutting the broccoli into little florets and putting them into a saucepan of boiling water as most of us do, she submerges the entire tree into the pot with the stem poking out.

She then leaves it to boil like this until it is cooked.
Steph then cut off the head of the vegetable and discards the stem, releasing each tiny tree.
She described her method as "easy, no sieving, no messing" but others aren't so sure.
Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 436,000 likes and 5,700 comments from people who were keen to try the hack for themselves.
One person said: "I think this is a brill idea, less mess! I'm going to try to next time."
Another wrote: "You just changed my life."
A third commented: "What in the heck?!?!
But a few others weren't keen on the hack because Steph removed the "best part" of the broccoli - the stem.
"The stem is the best bit," one person said.
While another agreed, saying: "Don’t waste the stem girl."
And someone else said: "You wasted so much..."
Nutritionist Lyndi Cohen (also known as the Nude Nutritionist ) isn't too keen on the method either, as she says there are healthier ways to cook the veg.
"I’m not the biggest fan of this hack. If you’ve boiled broccoli that soft that you can cut it with a fork, you have certainly boiled out a bunch of nutrients – like vitamins E, K, calcium, and polyphenols, too," she told Kidspot .
"When you boil broccoli you lose up to 90 per cent of the nutrients, ending up with very nutrient-rich water, which most people throw away."
