Woman's legs 'turned to jelly' in Morrisons before devastating diagnosis

A woman who thought she had covid ended up being hit with a devastating diagnosis.

The then 26-year-old had started to feel breathless and so doctors suspected she had contracted the virus. Jade Colburn, now 28, believed it might have initially been down to being stuck indoors during lockdown. However, she was eventually diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Speaking to The Mirror, the accountant from Sutton said: "I had right side colon cancer so my symptoms are very different to what you would expect. I couldn't catch my breath. I thought 'maybe it's the weather or being stuck indoors' because it was in the first lockdown.
