But for one woman on TikTok, her recent trip to have her eyebrows laminated took a worse turn than she could have imagined - as not only were her brows much darker than she wanted, but burns also began appearing around the hairs.
Kenzie McCallum, who is from the US, revealed she parted with $135 (£100) for the eyebrow lamination and was shocked when she saw how dark the finished product was compared to her fair skin and blonde hair.
