A woman has told how she “freaked” on seeing a spider and her foot became impaled on her high heel shoe after she jumped away from it.
Alyssa Lambert, 25, needed surgery to remove the shoe after an X-ray showed that it had entered by 4.5cm to the amazement of medics.
She had spotted a large huntsman spider lurking on the ceiling of her bedroom in Sydney, but then became injured in her attempt to kill it with a spray, on January 24.
