A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash in Falkirk earlier this morning.
Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the A801 between Polmont and the Avon Gorge just before 9am on Friday, February 4.
Two vehicles collided near the Bowhouse Roundabout.
It's not know if anyone was badly injured, but police have confirmed a casualty was taken to Forth Valley Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A801 around 8.45am on Friday 4 February 2022.
"A 21-year-old woman has attended at Forth Valley Royal Hospital as a precaution."
It's the second smash to happen in Falkirk in less than 24 hours - last night we told how a man was in a serious condition after his car collided with a lorry in Grangemouth.
Beancross Road had to be closed for several house while efforts were made to free the man who was trapped.
