With fuel prices continuing to skyrocket, having had a record-breaking jump up in June according to industry experts, many will want to find ways to save as much as possible. While there are a number of tips and tricks to use less fuel while driving, a surefire way to save is to find your cheapest local pumps.
However, driving around in search of a cheaper fuel pump is a bit pointless; you'll be wasting fuel to do so and will probably end up losing out overall. Thankfully one savvy money-saver on TikTok has shared a trick that finds the cheapest pumps for you.
In the video, which has more than 130,000 views and 7.5k likes, TikTok user Ella May Houghton ( ellamayhought0n ) shared an app that clearly shows the cheapest nearby petrol station. The app, which Ella calls "a game changer", is called 'Petrol Prices' and can be downloaded for free on app stores.
