A woman returned from a holiday in Spain to find "urgent letters" from the NHS on her doorstep.
Sarah Waters, 31, from Prescot, attended a routine smear test on April 1, 2022, after it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Following the test, she presumed everything was normal and jetted off to Spain on holiday.
Once she returned she found "urgent letters" on her doorstep and referred her to hospital. She was given the devastating diagnosis of a rare type of cervical cancer on June 22.
