A woman left the airport with her kids without catching her flight after discovering where her children were sat.
The disagreement came about when the family headed to their local travel hub to jet off to a Thanksgiving Dinner. Both she and her fiancé have children from former relationships, but were heading as one family on the trip.
As they were about to board the flight the woman realised that her fiancé had booked the two of them and his three children from a former marriage, into first class.
Her two children, 14 and 10, were to be sat alone in economy.
"I was stunned, he acted like it was a no big deal and told us it's just few hours and the 'kids could just hang in there for a little while'," the woman explained on Reddit.

"I asked how he could think this was acceptable and he got mad and said as he's the one paying for tickets, we go by his rules.
"I immediately turned around and took the kids and made my way out of the airport."
The family ended up spending Thanksgiving apart, with the man heading off with his kids on the flight.
The woman turned to the news aggregation site to test the waters on whether others thought her actions were out of line.
The overwhelming consensus what that he was in the wrong.
"Your fiancé seems to missing the point: it's not that you expected your kids to be in first class, but that once everyone else was in first class, it was not okay to put them in economy," one person wrote.
Another weighed in: "I could see putting all of the kids together in economy, for a little unsupervised fun and extra independence - of course, he would need to notify you of this in advance.
"But there's no excuse for giving his own kids the luxury seats and sending yours to the back, let alone not telling you he was doing so."
A third wrote: "Not acceptable. I’d be hurt and not get on the plane either."

With all of the stresses and strains associated with them, it seems like airports and planes are the perfect place to have a disagreement.
One young recently wrote about his experience of being berated by a mum over the choice of his in-flight film.
A separate woman also left her partner at the airport, but not because of a disagreement of who was sitting where.
Instead she was furious that her mother-in-law had turned up to join them on a holiday.
"The day of the trip came and we got to the airport at 2pm," the 30-year-old wrote.
"My husband was walking ahead of me and was looking left and right like he was looking for someone.
"I asked him but he didn't respond. He lead me to the waiting area and first thing I saw was his mom standing there with her luggage.
"I froze in my spot, I felt a cold wave washing over me and I was fuming inside. She and my husband were hugging.
"That's when I quietly turned around and started walking towards the exit. My husband followed me while shouting at me to stop."
