A woman who was bitten by a mosquito on holiday woke up from a coma with no arms and legs after contracting malaria. Tatiana Timon went to Angola to pursue her passion for Zumba dancing before she fell ill after returning home.

The 35-year-old had contracted the deadliest form of malaria, leading to an emergency quadruple amputation.
