Usually, men are the ones who propose, but Estella chose to do it herself. Her decision started a big debate about gender roles and how much effort people should put into relationships.

According to Bro Bible, the drama began when Estella posted a TikTok video the night before she planned to propose. The video went viral and got 8.6 million views. She knew people would criticize her, saying at the start, “And I know what everybody’s gonna think, and I already know what everybody’s gonna say. But honestly, I don’t even care.”
