Woman praises 'green flag' email she received from company after turning down job offer

If you're lucky enough while job hunting, you might encounter a situation where you're offered two jobs, and then have to decide which one to accept.

While it's great to have options, it also means you'll have to turn down an offer from another company.

One woman was seriously impressed with the reaction of a company after she turned down their job offer, deeming it a real "green flag".

Content creator Steph from Canada, who posts on TikTok under the username @essenceofstephanie, recently shared the incredible email she got from the company's human resources department.

In the video, Steph shared the "sweet" email she got from the company after she informed them she had accepted a position elsewhere.

Steph explained: "Okay this is actually the f***ing best. This is the email that was sent to me from a company that I just told I wasn't going to take their employment offer because I got a better one."

She began reading out the company email, which had four main points on it summing up what they had "discussed and agreed on the phone".

The first point was that they are "very very sad", and the second was they they are "happy for your great opportunity and wish you all the best".

The third point was that they will "keep in touch" and that Steph will "reach out" if things "aren't as expected" in her new place of employment.

Steph then read out the fourth point, which joked about the possibility of sending a "clone" of herself to fill the role she turned down.

After laughing, Steph added: "This is the best. This is the f***ing best."

In the caption of the video, Steph added that the sweet email had given her a little "ego boost".

In the comment section people shared their love for the email and the company, with one person saying: "I wish more companies made us feel valued like this!"

Another added: "Green flags for company culture right there," while another agreed: "Major green flags!!"

A fourth added: "I love them so much, sending them all good recruiting vibes."

Others said this email would have made them reconsider their decision, but in a later video Steph revealed she loves her new job, and her colleagues are already like a "family".
