A DoorDash customer got more than they bargained for when their delivery driver pulled up with their order. Why? They mowed straight through her lawn.
The TikTok clip showed a car cruising through user Lila’s (@lilaa.sillyy.secrett) grassy front lawn as she filmed through the window. Adding to the tense atmosphere was suspenseful music and an on-screen caption reading: “POV: Your DoorDash driver decides to drive through your front yard.”
The TikTok has amassed 592,000 views.

How did commenters respond?
In the comments, most TikTok users saw the funny side of it all. “You don’t understand how funny this is why is it not viral?” one asked.
“Lmao he don’t gaf,” a second wrote, following the comment with several crying emojis. While a third questioned: “Genuinely, what was he thinking?”
A fourth commenter shared their own amusing experience, saying: “My Uber driver once drove me through a golf course – I couldn’t believe my eyes as we were passing the tboxes.”
While a fifth complained, “I HAD THIS HAPPEN TWICE TO ME ALREADY.”
Several Redditors encountered the same problem
Strangely, a few Redditors have had the same issue, complaining about their DoorDash drivers in the r/DoorDash subreddit.
“I feel they [DoorDash] should compensate me as the cost as probably of new soil, premium seed, hydromulch and labor,” one Redditor shared. “My new driveway was also stained from the seedpod/pollen she dragged on it. Massive brown stain. Honestly, I’m looking at 100s of dollars in damage. If it can even be repaired.”
In response to this complaint, users suggested that the Redditor, who had raised a ticket with DoorDash, should instead go down the insurance route: one suggested that they go to their home insurance company, while another claimed that DoorDash drivers have property damage insurance coverage for situations such as this one.

In another Reddit post, a second user shared images of the damage done to their lawn by a DoorDash driver, which consisted of long tire stains stretching out across the grassy lawn in curved stripes.
Making reference to the abundance of other Reddit posts like this, a user commented: “With how often these posts are made I am super curious what goes thru someone’s mind prior to doing this? And is this the first time? Prob not, dare I ask how often they do this? Oh god, do they do this at every house they deliver to?”
DoorDash didn’t immediately respond to The Mary Sue’s request for comment via email.
