A woman on an e-scooter fled the scene after being involved in a crash.
Merseyside Police rushed to New Hey Road in Upton at around 4.25pm on Monday, March 14, following reports of a crash. Once at the scene they were told by eye-witnesses a car and e-scooter were involved in the incident.
It was reported to police the woman driving the electric scooter had ridden away from the scene. The driver of the car stopped on New Hey Road.

Nobody believed to have been injured in the crash. Merseyside Police have said enquiries are ongoing to trace the rider of the e-scooter.
