Christa Pike, the Tennessee death-row inmate scheduled to become the first woman executed in the state in more than two centuries, has said she feels a 'kinship' with Lindsay Clancy over what she called 'uniquely female issues.'

Pike, 50, is due to die by lethal injection on 30 September 2026 at 10:00am CDT unless a last-minute stay is granted, and she discussed perceived parallels between her case and Clancy's mistrial in Massachusetts in a recent interview.
