A woman murdered her "drinking partner" by attacking him with a baseball bat and pushing him down a flight of stairs.
Adrian Swift told medics he'd been "battered s***less" by Cheryl O'Callaghan at their home. Despite sustaining "serious facial and bodily injuries", the 57-year-old discharged himself from hospital the next morning and was later found dead.
O'Callaghan, 46, was found guilty of murdering Mr Swift by jurors at Liverpool Crown Court today.
