BIJNOR: Police arrested a 32-year-old woman and her lover on Friday for allegedly choking her 10-year-old son to death at Jafarpur Kot village under the Chandpur police station area of Bijnor.
Bijnor superintendent of police Dinesh Singh said, “The boy identified as Varun Kumar went missing on January 16 while playing outside his house. His father had filed a complaint in this connection. Two teams were constituted to crack down the case.”
Preliminary investigation revealed that the boy’s mother Nanhi had illicit relations with a man named Tinku Saini. “Varun, the victim, had seen his mother with Saini in an objectionable position. Fearing revelation, they killed him and dumped his body in a sugarcane field,” said Singh.
Police said that the accused confessed to the crime, following which they were sent to jail.
