A woman who was domestically abused and tortured on camera by her heartless husband took her own life after eight years of brutality.
Mandeep Kaur, who was from India, was living in New York with her cruel partner and two young daughters, aged four and six when the worst of the violence happened.
The 30-year-old Sikh woman was regularly beaten by her husband and on one occasion locked in a truck container for five days, according to her heartbroken dad Jaspal Singh - who is taking legal action against his in-laws.
