A woman who fell asleep in the sun for 30 minutes was horrified when her forehead skin was left looking like plastic, before then peeling completely.
Sirin Murad, 25, was on holiday in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, when she fell asleep in the 21C sunshine, with no sun cream on. The beautician woke up from her 30-minute nap by the pool with a slightly sore, red face, but didn’t think much of it and continued relaxing during her time off.
The next day her skin had become so tight that when she furrowed her eyebrows it looked like plastic.
