Woman left quadriplegic after she jumped in pool to celebrate but misjudged water depth

A woman woke up as a quadriplegic after diving into a pool during a party went horribly wrong.

Dana Barrett, 31, hit her head on the bottom of the pool and broke her neck while celebrating winning a game of mini golf.

After being rushed to hospital by air ambulance, she learnt days later that she had broken her C2 vertebrae in her neck - leaving her quadriplegic.
