Woman left devastated after flying 2,000 miles for new teeth now risks losing them all

A woman has shared how her botched cut-price dental treatment in Turkey was the start of an expensive and painful ordeal - and she now faces losing all her teeth.

Lisa Martin, 48, a healthcare assistant from Co Kerry, Ireland, flew to Turkey to get dental mono crowns, a type of cap that restores the tooth, for 1,500 EUR (£1,248).

All seemed well but within weeks, she noticed a small crack in one of the crowns – which would become the start of a horrifying and very expensive nightmare.
