A woman was left blushing after a Starbucks barista attempted to 'chat her up' through her coffee cup.
Many dream of that movie moment of bumping into a stranger and falling madly in love. However, TikTok user @chance_twins was left red in the face after she spotted a 'smooth' message on her cup shortly after ordering.
The "secret message" was pointed out with arrow that travelled down to the bottom of the cup. The text which would usually read "Careful, the beverage you're about to enjoy is extremely hot" was circled, but instead several words were crossed out.
Therefore, the message read: "Careful, you're extremely hot."
The woman, who shares the social media account with her twin sister said that in future she would have to avoid returning to this Starbucks as she couldn't face the barista again.
She captioned the video: "What just happened at Starbucks? Never going back there."
Commenters on the video were divided over the gesture, and while some thought it was "cute", others wondered how many other people the barista had tried his luck with.
One person said: "That was smooth, not going to lie."
"It's cute, girls say guys never do anything. He just put his heart out to you", another agreed.
A sceptic wrote: "I'm wondering how many other girls he did that to."
The Mirror has contacted Starbucks for comment.
