A WOMAN has been killed in a dog attack at a flat in Aberdeen.
The 41-year-old died at the scene as emergency services attended the incident in the city’s Foresterhill Road on Saturday night where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The breed of the dog has not been revealed but police said it has been destroyed.
Police Scotland said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Police received a report that a woman had been seriously injured by a dog within a flat.
“Emergency services attended but the 41-year-old woman died at the scene.”
