A woman has been left in tears after ordering a £238 chocolate cake - only for it to arrive looking like a pile of slop. Libby explained how she ordered a four-tier cake from a high-rated bakery in her area, expecting it to arrive exactly as she requested.
The cake was meant to be coated in chocolate ganache and finished with ribbons of chocolate - but that's far from what she received. Taking to TikTok, Libby, from America, said: "Guys I paid $300 (£238) for this and the lady just dropped it off - what do I actually do?"
After being handed a wonky cake with rainbow sprinkles on it, Libby was too shocked to do anything but accept it.
On closer inspection, she realised its uneven chocolate icing was crumbling off the cake.
However, she says it was structurally sound - just disastrous to look it.
Commenting on the cake, one user said: "This has to be some form of hate crime..."
Another user added: "This would make me bawl my kidneys out."
A third user said: "When you say dropped it off, did she literally drop it? How is that the same as the one in the photo! How?"
One more user added: "Call your non emergency line and ask how you can get a refund."
A firth user said: "Put it in the fridge, probably just melted a bit."
