But one woman has been left in stitches after getting her husband to try his hand at trimming her tresses, as his scissor skills weren't quite up to scratch.
Kate Rorison took to TikTok to share a video of her hair disaster, as she said the trim had actually taken place over lockdown in 2020 when hair salons were shut down and we were all forced to take matters into our own hands.
