A woman has found love for the first time with a toy plane and said it is the best partner she has ever had.
Sandra, 28, sleeps in the same bed as her jet lover which she kisses good morning and goodnight every day.
The aviation worker, from Budapest, Hungary, started her whirlwind romance with a toy plane, which she fondly calls Luffancs, in January after buying him online for £600.
"I don't know why I love him, I just love him," she said.
"He's beautiful and my soulmate. He is the first thing I see in the mornings and the last thing when I go to sleep. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Sandra first became obsessed with planes aged three and dreamed about working with them throughout her teenage years.
In 2021, she managed to land a job in the aviation industry, meaning she could spend the majority of her time surrounded by her favourite things – planes.
Her previous partners have not had an issue with her fondness for planes.
But after breaking up with her ex last year, Sandra decided to take the plunge and enter into her first relationship with an object.
Since then, the relationship has gone from strength to strength with Sandra claiming she has finally fallen in love for the first time in her life.
"We cuddle and kiss throughout the night and have sex. I get to do everything with him," she said.
The airport worker even claims that Luffancs is the best partner she has ever had.
She said: "I have never felt like this with a partner before. For the first time in my life, I am in love.
"I have always liked planes, more than the average person.
"It's never been a problem in my other relationships. They haven't said anything and I never asked.
"If I go away for the weekend, I make sure I take him with me. He's always there for me."
Despite working in an airport five days a week with temptation around every corner, Sandra said she would never dream of cheating on her new love with another aircraft.
She added: "I have something special and I am not prepared to ruin it.
"My big love is LX-UCV at the airport but work is work, I just do everything at home.
"The most I do with other planes at work is just touch and blow a kiss.
"I'm not too sure if I will go back to a human relationship.
"Planes are more reliable as partners. I know I can always speak to him.
"I like how planes represent endless opportunities. To me, that is something positive and something I want to have in my life."
