Woman in hospital after assault in broad daylight in St Stephen's Green as gardai launch probe

A woman has been rushed to hospital after a shocking attack in St Stephen's Green in Dublin city on Tuesday.

The assault happened at around 4:15pm and the woman, aged in her 50s, was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.

A Garda spokesman told the Irish Mirror that officers are investigating the attack but no arrests have been made.
