A woman was hit by a bus on a busy Liverpool road.
Police officers and paramedics attended Woolton Road, Garston at around 8.50am on Wednesday, November 16, after reports of a crash. At the scene they found a woman, in her 70s, had been hit by an Arriva bus.
The woman was taken to hospital, with police confirming that her injuries were "not believed to be life threatening." North West Ambulance service later confirmed that she suffered non-serious injuries.

The road was closed for a number of hours this morning. A Merseyside police spokesperson said at the time: "We are currently in attendance at a serious road traffic collision in Garston this morning, Wednesday 16th November, which involved a bus and a pedestrian.
"At around 8.50am, we received a report that a bus had been involved in a collision with pedestrian at the junction of Long Lane and Horrocks Avenue. Road closures are currently in place as emergency services deal with the incident."
A spokesperson for Arriva told the ECHO: "We can confirm that our service 80 was involved in an incident this morning, and we are currently assisting the police with their enquiries."
