Police are investigating after a woman in her mid 20s was found dead at home in south east London.
Met Police officers attended the home in East Rochester Way, Sidcup, at around 3.45pm following concerns for a person’s welfare.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services providing first aid she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say her death is “unexpected”.
A spokesman for Met Police said: “Police were called at 3.46pm on Saturday, May 13 following concerns for the welfare of an occupant at an address on East Rochester Way in Sidcup.
“Emergency services attended and provided first aid.
"Despite their efforts the woman, aged in her mid-20s, died at the scene
Officers are in the process of tracing her next of kin.
"The death is being treated as unexpected.”
