A woman who was told she had Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) has been diagnosed with terminal cancer after years of pain.
Stacey Cochrane, from Scotland, ended up in A&E on two occasions and had several GP appointments while suffering from terrible abdominal pain over two months in the summer.
It wasn't until a trip to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on September 21 that an anxious Stacey pleaded to be given a scan. Later that day, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
