Getting ready for a night out can feel like a logistical nightmare. Whether you pack light, or wouldn't be caught without your essentials, there are some items everyone has to take - and with these come the challenge of safely transporting them.
After all, while you'd be fine to leave any accessories like lip balm at home, you wouldn't fare well without your keys or money. But you might not want to carry around a cumbersome bag or leave them loose in your pocket. All it takes is one energetic dance move too many and your keys could go flying across the dance floor, while you're none the wiser.

If you're enjoying a couple of drinks, you probably won't be, and don't want to be, worrying about your keys. Luckily, a woman has shared the "life hack" she uses to keep her keys safe - and people think it is genius.
Posting to TikTok as @apple_brat, a savvy bar-goer named Mia shared her advice. She demonstrated how to secure keys using a spring hook, in a video posted with audio saying: "Show me the life hack that you randomly saw one day that is now an unconscious standard practice in your life."
Mia then pulls out her jean pocket, to reveal she has attached her keys to a clip fastened through a hole in the material.
"If you are a girl in college and don't want to lose your keys at the bar...just cut a hole in your pocket," her onscreen caption advised.
And viewers loved the video, which has racked up over 800,000 views.
One person commented: "Woah, this is smart." Another agreed: "Genius." And a third thought: "This is good."
However, not everyone was so convinced, questioning why she did not use the belt loop.
But people were quick to point out the benefits of the creative approach, claiming it not only looks better but makes it more difficult for anyone attempting to steal your keys.
Many also shared their own suggestions or variations of the trip. "I attach the keys to a carabiner that I attach to my belt loop and then shove the key part into my pocket," read one comment.
Someone else wrote: "This is great idea...I think maybe one could use a strong piece of string and sew a loop into the inside of the pocket? that way there won't be a hole."
