Authorities have confirmed that a tragic incident occurred at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, where a 57-year-old woman was found dead inside the baggage claim area. The woman, identified as Virginia Christine Vinton, was discovered pinned inside the baggage conveyor belt machinery on Thursday.
According to the medical examiner's office, the cause of death has been determined as asphyxiation from being hanged, leading to the conclusion of suicide. Vinton was reported to have entered the restricted area around 2:30 a.m., wearing flip-flops at the time.
