Seven residents at a house in Leeds were left dumbfounded after a cheeky burglar got into their home and did a poo in the bathtub.
Katie and Josh, who live with five other housemates, say someone got into their house in Headingley just after 5am on Saturday, December 10. Josh, who had just returned from a night out, says he heard the person come in but assumed it was one of his housemates who had been on the phone.
Josh, whose bedroom is directly above the bathroom said: "My friend was on Facetime the whole night talking to his girlfriend. So when he came in I actually heard someone but thought it was him, and because I could hear him talking I thought he was outside."

Josh , a 20-year-old second-year university student says their uninvited guest even fell over. He said: "I heard him fall over. I thought it was my housemate but it wasn't and his girlfriend who was on Facetime with him would have seen and confirmed that he didn't fall over."
Josh says the burglar left the bathroom, closed the door behind him and then left the house without stealing anything. The closed doors kept the smell away, but, in the morning, Josh, Katie and the other housemates discovered the gory scene the bathroom burglar had left behind.
Katie, also 20, who came back home earlier around 1am and saw nothing suspicious said: "The whole house smelled really bad".
Josh said the housmates were forced to clean it out, saying: "Our housemates, got one of those covid masks and gloves and basically scooped it out."
But Josh and Katie say they were surprised. Katie said she initially thought it was a prank, while Josh said he was surprised by the the giant poo.
Josh, who says their bathroom directly faces the toilet, said: "I was surprised. It was the sheer size of it. It was such an effort to do what they did and to be looking at the toilet the entire time. I just couldn't fathom doing it."
