A woman claims she was fined for trying to stop lorries parking illegally outside her own house.
Sarah Pitt, who lives in a 400-year-old cottage in Belper, Derbyshire, said many HGV drivers park in front of her home on single yellow lines, despite it being against the law.
The 56-year-old said the rules are reportedly ignored by many, who park there for hours between 9am and 7pm without punishment, Derbyshire Live reports.
