A woman has described the terrifying moment her dog tried to kill her in her own home, leaving her with horrifying injuries similar to that of a "shark attack".
Caroline Fisher, 48, had only just returned to her home from a holiday when her Bulgarian rescue pooch Metcho turned on her on June 9.
The Karakachan, which weighs a huge 12st 8lb, ripped the back off her right arm at her Blackpool property, and mauled her left leg so badly that her tendons were left exposed as she fought to escape with her life.
