A woman has told of enduring a painful “hell” for over a decade since an operation performed by a Bristol surgeon facing a misconduct hearing this week.
Jennifer Hill, 74, said she is among the over 200 patients to whom North Bristol NHS Trust apologised after last year admitting Dr Anthony Dixon had caused them to suffer “harm” by giving them unnecessary pelvic floor surgery using artificial mesh.
