A woman took a trip to Tropical World in Roundhay but says she left disappointed, "embarassed" and "shocked" at the facilities.
Located in Roundhay, the popular attraction offers a glimpse into rainforest life with exotic plants and animals, including meerkats, monkeys and butterflies. However, when Fay Best took her friend from the US on Wednesday (June 15), she claims it was in need of some serious TLC.
Fay posted in a Roundhay Community Facebook group saying she was embarrassed after noticing a very limited display of animals, in poor conditions, dirty and dying plants and dust everywhere. She said it was very different to when she visited years ago.
