A TikTok creator says a routine drive turned into a frightening escape. She says her Toyota Camry displayed an engine warning before the vehicle caught fire. She and her 10-month-old son got out in time. In a July 2026 post, Nuvia (@n.riesgo) shared a video explaining what happened, with footage of the aftermath.
In her caption, she says the car displayed an “engine malfunction” warning on a screen while she was driving. She said she pulled over immediately, only to see smoke coming from the vehicle before flames appeared. Nuvia then wrote that she rushed to the back seat to remove her infant son and carried him a safe distance away from the vehicle. “I never jumped so fast,” the caption read.
