A woman has been left terrified after discovering a chilling note inside her abusive ex-boyfriend's toolbox.
The woman posted the alarming message on according to Birmingham Live, which she found after breaking things off with her former partner.
She shares a photo of the yellow post-it note, labelled "vacation plans" with a smiley face drawn next to it.
However, the rest of the scribblings were nothing to do with planning a relaxing holiday.
Instead, it featured a diagram of a coffin tailored to the woman's own personal measurements, according to Birmingham Live.
She accompanied the post with the caption: "I left my abusive partner and found this post-it note in his tool box that details his plans for a coffin that he labels 'vacation plans :)'.
"It matches my measurements."
The writer explained she had found the note after her ex moved out of her home and she gave the tools to a friend.
The viral post has since received more than 2,000 likes and many comments, with users sharing in the woman's distress over the find.
Some have even encouraged her to take the note to the police.
