A woman has died after taking unwell at a gym run by ex-footie star Kevin Cuthbert.
The 48-year-old collapsed at Ladeside Business Centre's gym in Perth on Thursday.
Emergency crews scrambled to the fitness centre in Saint Catherine's Road just after 7.30pm.
The woman was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and later passed away.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
The gym is managed by former goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert, 39, who played for St Johnstone, Greenock Morton, Ayr United, Hamilton Academical and Raith Rovers.
Police confirmed the tragic incident on Friday.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson told the Record: “At round 7.35pm on Thursday, police were called to a premises on St Catherine’s Road, Perth, following a report of a 48-year-old woman taking unwell.
“She was conveyed to Ninewells Hospital, where she later died.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
