Woman dies after falling ill at Stornoway bar as cops probe 'unexplained' death

Stornoway Western Isles

A woman has died after falling ill in a bar in the Western Isles.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on South Beach Quay, Stornoway after the alarm was raised of a woman having collapsed shortly after 9.30pm on Saturday, June 4.

The 56-year-old was rushed to Western Isles Hospital, where she sadly died.
